Private Sessions

Private sessions are one-on-one and last 50 minutes. Prior to your first session, you will be asked to complete a medical history and liability form. A general body assessment will be completed to determine factors such as joint range of motion and stability. Guidance is typically both verbal and hands on.

Sessions may take place at your home, office or gym. After assessment, there is often a mixture of active and passive mobility work, myofascial release, bodyweight strength and stability, and weighted strength and stability. The goal is to be functional and safe to participate in all daily hobbies and activities without risk of injury. You often will be given home exercises! We may often address posture in a variety of positions and activities related to your job, and other activities such as sitting, standing, walking, bending, sleeping, using a computer or phone, speaking, and dealing with stress.

Sessions are typically purchased in packages of 1, 3, 5, 10, 20, and 30. Sessions will typically occur 1-3 times a week for a set period of time until client is independent.

Private sessions are highly recommended for anyone with a history of injury, surgery, or pain. These are often considered life-changing. They are also recommended for people with poor posture, neck pain, scoliosis, or complex medical history. You will be provided with a level of focus and attention while monitoring exercises that is rare in most physical therapy clinics, and will learn how to take care of your individual body for life.
